THROTTLE STUCK ON 1995 HONDA PASSPORT/ISUZU RODEO RESULTING IN DEATH OF BUDDY THATCHER AT AIRPORT AUTO AUCTION IN ALCOA TN. SINCE THEN ANOTHER PASSPORT THROTTLE HAS STUCK WHILE BEING DRIVEN TO AUCTION. INVESTIGATION HAS SHOWN THAT THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH THE THROTTLE CABLE HOUSING WHICH RESULTS IN THIS FAILURE--THIS IS A LIFE AND DEATH ISSUE AND I WANTED TO REPORT/CHECK TO SEE IF IT HAS BEEN REPORTED /ON OTHER YEARS AND MODEL--PASSPORT AND RODEO RAN FROM 1994 TO 2002. PROBABLE ISUZU TROOPER HAS
CONSUMER TRAVELING AT APPROXIMATELY 65 TO 68 MPH ON INTERSTATE AND A COW CROSSED ROAD IN FRONT OF CONSUMERS VEHICLE. AIRBAGS FAILED TO DEPLOY, AND VEHICLE SUSTAINED APPROXIMATELY $8000.00 IN DAMAGES. PLEASE PROVIDE ANY ADDITIONAL INFORMATION/ATTACHMENTS. *AK
CONSUMER WAS GOING AROUND A CURVE AND LOST CONTROL, CAR FLIPPED OVER ABOUT 7 TIMES. CONSUMER BROKE 7 RIBS. UPON IMPACT, AIRBAGS DID NOT DEPLOY, AND CAR WAS TOTALLED. TOWED TO POLICE DEPARTMENT AND THEN TO CRIDERS RECORD SERVICE. *AK
