TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 HONDA NRX 1500 WITH A CORBIN H-RUN-FLIP-E RUMBLE FLIP UP SEAT (N/A). THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE SPEED CLIP DETACHED FROM THE FLIP SEAT, CAUSING THE RETENTION PIN TO DETACH AND THE SEAT TO BECOME LOOSE. THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO PLACE THE RETENTION PIN BACK IN PLACE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND STATED THEY WOULD MAIL THE CONTACT A REPLACEMENT SPEED CLIP. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 8,200.
