TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 1978 (NA) HONDA GOLDWING MOTORCYCLE EQUIPED WITH PIRRELI METZLER (NA) TIRES. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 40 MPH, THE REAR TIRE DEFLATED. THE CONTACT COASTED THE VEHICLE ONTO THE SHOULDER AND NOTICED THAT THE FAILURE WAS DUE TO THREAD SEPARATION AND BUBBLES. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. THE TIRE WAS REPLACED. THE VIN AND TIRE SIZE WERE UNKNOWN. THE TIRE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 2,500 AND THE VEHICLE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 66,600.
