THE IGNITION SWITCH CUT POWER TO THE VEHICLE WHILE RUNNING. I COULD NOT GET THE SWITCH TO START THE VEHICLE UNLESS I PRESSED ON THE BOTTOM OF THE SWITCH WITH MY FINGER. I DID A SEARCH FOR THIS PROBLEM WITH THIS YEAR MOTORCYCLE AND IT SEEMS THAT HONDA ISSUED A RECALL FOR THIS PROBLEM SWITCH, BUT USING THE VIN NUMBER AT THE HONDA DEALER DOES NOT BRING UP ANY RECALL. IS THERE ANY RECOURSE FOR THIS WITH HONDA OR HONDA DEALERSHIPS? THE BIKE WAS STATIONARY WHEN THIS HAPPENED, BUT WHILE RESEARCHING THIS ISSUE, I SAW THAT THERE WERE SEVERAL ISSUES WHEN THE BIKE WAS IN MOTION. HERE IS SOME DOCUMENTATION I FOUND: MAKE: HONDA MODEL: GL1200 MODEL YEAR: 1984 MANUFACTURER: AMERICAN HONDA MOTOR CO.
