20020311VISIBILITY:REARVIEW MIRRORS/DEVICES:EXTERIOR

THE REAR VIEW MIRRORS ARE SITUATED TOO CLOSE TOGETHER NOT ALLOWING THE RIDER TO SEE OTHER VEHICLES APPROACHING FROM BEHIND. THE POSITIONING OF THE MIRRORS ALLOWS VISIBILITY OF THE RIDERS SHOULDERS AND THE AREAS TO THE EXTREME LEFT OR RIGHT SIDE OF THE MOTORCYCLE ONLY. WHEN STOPPED AT AN INTERSECTION THE RIDER CANNOT SEE ANY VEHICLES THAT ARE APPROACHING FROM BEHIND, THEREBY NOT AFFORDING THE RIDER THE OPPORTUNITY TO TAKE EVASIVE ACTION IF REQUIRED.
