TL * - THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 BOSS HOSS MOTORCYCLE. THE CONTACT WAS DRIVING 65 MPH AND WHEN HE ATTEMPTED TO SHIFT GEARS THE MOTORCYCLE LOCKED, SLID AND WAS INOPERABLE. FOUR INCIDENTS OCCUR RELATED TO THE TRANSMISSION. THE MOTORCYCLE WAS PURCHASED NEW, AND THE INCIDENT ALSO OCCURRED WITH THE ORIGINAL TRANSMISSION. THE TRANSMISSION WAS REPLACED AND THE FAILURE CONTINUED TO OCCUR. THE TRANSMISSION WAS REBUILT BY THE MANUFACTURER. AFTER THE MOST RECENT INCIDENT THE DEALER REFUSED TO TEST RIDE THE MOTORCYCLE. *AK
