Honda (American Honda Motor Co.) is recalling certain model year 2014-2015 Honda Accord Hybrid vehicles manufactured August 29, 2013, to May 30, 2015. Electrical interference may cause the hybrid system to switch into fail-safe mode, disabling the gasoline engine, limiting the vehicle's speed to 40
The driver side visor has flopped down and has needed to be replaced twice. It is very difficult to repair this yourself and I have had to do it twice. This is ridiculous. Itâs a safety hazard because it wonât stay up in position and it wonât go towards the windshield either. I initially replaced this four years ago.
Driver side driveshaft broke - vehicle towed and driveshaft replaced. There is a recall for this (20V769000) but Honda customer service says it does not apply to my VIN.

My daughter was backing my car into the garage when the car started to roll forward, hitting my other car, I asked if she put it in drive and she told me no. I asked her to place the emergency brake on. I then pushed the car into the garage. I asked a mechanic to come look at the car, in my garage, he told me the axle had broke. I asked him if has ever seen this and he said it was very unusual. He also told me it looks as if has rusted in the spot that broke. I looked on the internet and noticed a recall on Honda accord axles rusting, do to not being rust proofed and the he salt in the Midwest region causing the axle to rust. The component was front axle. Hit another car Not sure if the problem has been reproduced The component has not been inspected by the following. (vehicle or component been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives) It has been inspected by a mechanic. No warning lamps or messages.
