ON 12/14/07 WE WERE INVOLVED IN AN AUTO ACCIDENT. WE WERE TRAVELING AT ABOUT 50MPH AND RAN INTO THE BACK OF ANOTHER VEHICLE. THE WHOLE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE OF OUR YUKON IS TOTALED. THE FRONT END/BATTERY AND OTHER ITEMS IS PUSHED UP INTO THE ENGINE. MY CONCERN IS THAT NEITHER ONE OF THE AIRBAGS DEPLOYED IN THE ACCIDENT. WHY? THE IMPACT SHOULD HAVE RELEASED THE AIRBAG AND THE DRIVER OF THE VEHICLE HIT HIS SHOULDER ON THE STEERING WHEEL, WHICH THE AIRBAG WOULD HAVE PREVENTED THAT. *TR
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 1999 GMC YUKON DENALI. ON SEPTEMBER 8, 2007, WHILE ATTEMPTING TO STOP AT A STOP SIGN, THE VEHICLE FAILED TO STOP AND REAR ENDED ANOTHER VEHICLE. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE OF THE VEHICLE WAS DAMAGED. WHEN THE BRAKES WERE APPLIED AT LOW SPEEDS, THE BRAKE PEDAL EXTENDED TO THE FLOOR AND THE VEHICLE FAILED TO IMMEDIATELY STOP. THE FAILURE WAS CAUSED BY A LACK OF BRAKING PRESSURE AND CORROSION BUILD UP IN THE ANTILOCK SYSTEM. THE VEHICLE HAS NOT B

REFUSAL TO HONOR NATIONALLY ADVERTISED WARRANTY PROGRAM FOR REPAIRS WHICH RESULTED IN A VEHICLE FIRE. WHILE DRIVING, THE VEHICLE DEVELOPED AN OIL LEAK. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALERSHIP AND REPAIRED SO THE CONSUMER ASSUMED. SIX HOURS THE VEHICLE WAS IN FLAMES. THE CONSUMER LATER LEARNED, THE FIRE WAS DUE TO IMPROPER REPAIRS BY THE DEALERSHIP.
