HELLO I HAVE HAD SEVERAL RECURRING ISSUES WITH MY FUEL PUMP SYSTEM. I HAVE HAD ONE ACTUAL FUEL LINE BREAK IN HALF AND POUR DIESEL OUT WHILE I WAS DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD. ALSO THE FUEL PUMP ON THE VEHICLE HAS COME A LOOSE FROM THE ENGINE TWICE BREAKING THE FOUR LUG NUTS THAT HOLD THE FUEL PUMP TO THE ENGINE, WHICH ALSO CAUSED FUEL TO LEAK. *TR

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 GENERAL MOTOR COMPANY W4500. THE CONTACT WAS DRIVING WHEN THE VEHICLE STALLED, AND THE CONTACT NOTICED THERE WAS DIESEL FUEL LEAKING. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A PRIVATE MECHANIC AND WHO CONFIRMED THAT THE FUEL PUMP FAILED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND CONFIRMED THE VIN DID NOT QUALIFY FOR NHTSA RECALL CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER :08V251000(FUEL SYSTEM, DIESEL). THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 155,000.
