HEADLIGHTS ON THIS VEHICLE ARE HORRID AND PROVIDE VERY POOR ILLUMINATION. IT IS VERY DIFFICULT TO SEE AT NIGHT, ESPECIALLY ON COUNTRY ROADS WITH NO STREET LIGHTS. HEADLIGHT DESIGN SHOULD BE CONSIDERED A SAFETY HAZARD. YOU'D THINK AFTER SPENDING $ 60,000 ON A PICKUP TRUCK IT WOULD COME WITH SOME DECENT HEADLIGHTS. NOT THE CASE ON THE GMC SIERRA. *TR

I BOUGHT A BRAND NEW GMC IN SAN DIEGO CA. I TOOK IT HOME TO DISCOVER THAT THE UNDERCARRIAGE IS COVER IN RUST. EVERYTHING FROM THE TIE RODS, TO THE DRIVE SHAFT. ANYTHING METAL IS COVERED IN RUST INCLUDING THE FRAME. ITS NOT A SURFACE RUST,THE RUST IS CORRODING THESE PARTS ALREADY AND THE TRUCK IS BRAND NEW. HOW COULD THIS BE SOLD AS A BRAND NEW TRUCK? THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE AS WELL. WE DO NOT HAVE SNOW HERE THAT WOULD HAVE SPRAYED SALT ON HE TRUCK TO DO THIS. THIS TRUCK HAS BEEN CORRODING FOR SOME TIME NOW EVEN THO THEY SAID IT WAS JUST BUILT. RUST DOESN'T GO AWAY ONLY GETS WORSE AND A BRAND NEW TRUCK SHOULDN'T BE COVER IN IT. I'M VERY CONCERNED WITH THE SAFETY OF THIS TRUCK. *TR

WHILE DRIVING, THE POWER STEERING HOSE CAME OFF CAUSING A SUDDEN LOSE OF FLUID RESULTING IN LOSS OF POWER STEERING AND POWER BRAKES. ALTHOUGH A RECALL/BULLETIN WAS TO BE ISSUED ON THIS PER THE DEALER (I CAN NOT FIND EVIDENCE OF A RECALL FOR THIS), MY VEHICLE WAS BUILT AFTER THE INCIDENT WAS RECOGNIZED AND THOUGHT TO BE CORRECTED. SUDDEN LOSE OF POWER STEERING AND POWER BRAKES IN A VEHICLE THIS SIZE WHILE PULLING A LARGE TRAILER COULD HAVE BEEN DISASTROUS. *TR
