The transmission control module stopped working leaving the vehicle unable to be driven and no part support from gmc/allison and part is backordered with no eta. There are reports the module becomes defective due to its placement near engine heat. There should be a recall for this issue. Many people are experiencing this issue

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 GMC SIERRA 3500. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE REVERSING AT VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE VEHICLE FAILED TO RESPOND TO DECELERATION ATTEMPTS AS THE POWER STEERING ASSIST FAILED.
