Vehicle was regularly maintained and did not show any air bag codes on a reader. Was told by tow truck driver a new ball joint failed after recently being replaced. This caused me to lose steering around a small bend and lead me to go straight into a guardrail at 55mph. Upon impact of guardrail and a 10foot drop off the air bag never went off upon a 55mph head on impact. I had be rushed to hospital and with request for lifeline but was unavailable. I spent day and half in hospital and had to hav

THE DRIVER SIDE SEAT BACK COLLAPSED BACKWARDS WHILE VEHICLE WAS IN MOTION. THE DRIVER GRABBED STEERING WHEEL TO AVOID FALLING BACKWARDS AND CRASHED INTO A GRAVEL PIT AS A RESULT. *PH THE KNOBS THAT CONTROL THE SEAT HAVE BEEN FROZEN AND INOPERABLE FOR THREE YEARS. THE DRIVER'S SEAT WOULDN'T LATCH AND SLID BACK SEVERAL TIMES WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS BEING DRIVEN. *PH *NLM

CONSUMER WAS TRAVELING ABOUT 35MPH ON A SIDE STREET,. STREET BECAME AN INTERSECTION, A DEAD OF A STREET. DIDN'T TURN OFF IN TIME, AND RAN THROUGH A FENCE, HITTING A TREE. UPON IMPACT, FRONTAL AIRBAGS DIDN'T GO OFF. DEALERSHIP WAS AWARE OF PROBLEM.*AK
WE WERE TRAVELING AT APPROXIMATELY 50 MPH ON U.S. 89, MILEPOST 40.3, AT 8:00 P.M., WHEN WE STRUCK A COW THAT WAS ON THE HIGHWAY. IT TOTALED OUR 3/4 TON TRUCK. THE AIR BAG DID NOT DEPLOY, CAUSING DRIVER TO HIT STEERING COLUMN WITH CHEST, CAUSING BRUISED LUNG AND HEART, SEVERE SOFT TISSUE DAMAGE TO RIGHT ARM, CAUSING DRIVER TO MISS TWO WEEKS OF WORK, WITHOUT PAY.*AK
TIRE FAILURE WITH A WILDERNESS TIRE THAT WAS ISSUED TO OWNER 3 MONTHS AGO TO REPLACE ANOTHER FIRESTONE TIRE THAT WAS RECALLED. (CLAIM# 53-C601-228) *MW

BRAKES: DRIVING ON FREEWAY AT APPROXIMATELY 35MPH ATTEMPTED TO SLOW DOWN BECAUSE THERE WAS AN ACCIDENT AHEAD, BRAKE PEDAL WENT COMPLETELY TO THE FLOOR AND VEHICLE WOULD NOT STOP, RESULTING IN A CRASH/INJURIES. *AK
