This vehicle since early inception of ownership has been brought to the dealer for failure to start, oil consumption and the vehicle stopping suddenly on it's own. There have been 13 service calls and each time the vehicle has been brought to dealer for the problem at hand shortly after that the vehicle was brought back again for the same issue and eventually escalating into other severe problems. The vehicle is unsafe to drive because it suddenly stops without warning, oil is being burned and needs replacement more often than it should. The vehicle recently had to be towed because it stopped and could not be started. The manufacturer claims that there is nothing wrong with this truck. However, this was disputed by a second dealer that examined the vehicle.

While driving on Interstate 10 at 70 mph the upper section of the front grille broke off. After the part broke off it contacted my windshield before continuing to fly off behind him. Not only putting me in danger but also anyone traveling behind me. From online research the is a recall for this truck except the 2022 models after the same thing happening.

20260210POWER TRAIN

Drastically reduced power on highway resulting in reduced acceleration due to code P0198 engine coolant control valve position sensor. Required me to drive at reduced speed on highway to get to dealer. Safety issue.

My truck supposedly passed the initial recall for the 6.2L GM engines. AT THIS TIME THEY CHANGED THE OIL AND SAID THE ENGINE WAS FINE! 5 months and one oil change (performed at the same GM dealership using the new recommended oil) my engine seized up while driving approximately 55 mph in rush hour traffic. The engine made a banging and clanging noise and lost power approximately 1/4 miles after the initial noise. This almost caused two accidents as the traffic had to come to a sudden stop, That’s engines are extremely dangerous to both the owners and the driving public on the highways alongside them. p the failure of the engine put me in a highly dangerous situation. This “oil” Fix is not doing what GM is saying it will do. I was told yesterday that my vehicle will need a new engine and radiator. This is simply dangerous and it makes for a horrible financial situation with the truck already needing a new engine.

The vehicle camera camera system is sometimes not available at startup and will not reset until the vehicle is allowed to sit for several hours. This prevents the backup camera, forward camera and side mirror cameras from providing an in-dash video of vehicle surroundings, which is especially critical for reversing direction or backing-up. Typically the camera will reset after sitting from a period of time. I have reported it to the dealer, but their position has been that since camera has always been working when I bring the truck in for service, is that there is really nothing they can do to correct the intermittent issue.

On or about Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at 12:20 CST, at the Chevrolet Dealership in Libertyville, IL; I presented my 2023 GMC Sierra to “Manny” at said dealership due to the vehicle INSTRUCTING ME TO DO SO because of DTC codes displayed indicating a failed DEF tank. I was told a technician would be able to diagnose the vehicle that afternoon. MakeModelYearVIN GMCSierra2023 [XXX] Day 1: came and went with no contact from the service department as promised. Day 2: Wednesday, February 4 came with – again – no follow-up from the dealer. When I CALLED I was told there were “no notes in the service order” and “the tech has gone home.” Day 3: Thursday morning “Manny” called to tell me nothing was done and nothing could be done. I was told to “call GM” and complain about my problem. This is how GM treats its customers. This is how GM treats its REPEAT customers. This is how GM treats its customers who BUY THEIR EXTENDED WARRANTIES. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT T

Engine shut off on the interstate with no warning. Would not re-start. Forced to cross lanes on traffic with no engine power or power steering. Dealer stated it was the "Fuel Pump Control Module." Stated it was a common issue with parts most likely in stock, but it would be at least 6 weeks before they could even look at the vehicle.
