VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: LIGHT DUTY PICKUP TRUCKS AND SPORT UTILITY VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITH VACUUM POWER, 4-WHEEL DISC BRAKES. THESE VEHICLES FAIL TO COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF FMVSS NO. 105, "HYDRAULIC BRAKE SYSTEMS." THESE VEHICLES WERE BUILT WITH A KINKED BRAKE BOOSTER VACUUM SUPPLY HOSE.

In addition, while making a left turn into an intersection, a second vehicle crashed into the front of the vehicle. During the crash, no air bags deployed.

MY HUSBAND WAS DRIVING HIS 2000 GMC SIERRA GOING ABOUT 45MPH. THE ROADS WERE WET HE SWERVED TO AVOID ANOTHER CAR. HE HIT A UTILITY POLE IN WHAT WAS A FRONT END COLLISION. THE TRUCK WAS TOTALED.
