20061117POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION

DT*: THE CONTACT STATED WHILE DRIVING 30 MPH, THE VEHICLE SHUDDERED WHILE BRAKING TO A STOP AND ACCELERATING FROM A STOP. WHILE BRAKING, THE VEHICLE ALSO JERKED FORWARD SLIGHTLY AS IF TRYING TO ACCELERATE. THE VEHICLE WAS THEN PARKED AND SHUT OFF. WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS RESTARTED AND SHIFTED INTO REVERSE, THE VEHICLE DID NOT MOVE. THE TRANSMISSION WAS THEN SHIFTED INTO DRIVE, BUT AGAIN DID NOT MOVE. A SERVICE DEALER WAS NOTIFIED, BUT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN IN FOR SERVICE.
