UPON STARTING IN PARKING LOT, BRAKE PEDAL WENT ALL THE WAY TO THE FLOOR. LARGE PUDDLE OF BRAKE FLUID BELOW CROSS MEMBER NEAR STARTER. BACK UP SYSTEM TO ISOLATE FRONT OR REAR BRAKE SYSTEMS DID NOT ENGAGE. UPON LATER INSPECTION, I FOUND THE CROSSOVER BRAKE LINE TO THE RIGHT FRONT WHEEL HAD COMPLETELY RUSTED THROUGH. THE BRAKE FLUID RESERVOIR COMPLETELY EMPTIED. ALL STEEL BRAKE AND FUEL LINES SHOW SERIOUS RUSTING. (HAD TO REPAIR LEAKING TRANSMISSION OIL COOLER LINES LAST SUMMER.) THIS SUDDEN BRAKE LINE FAILURE COULD HAVE CAUSED A DANGEROUS ACCIDENT, OR EVEN FATALITY, IF IT HAD OCCURRED WHILE I WAS DRIVING. JUST GLAD ANOTHER FAMILY MEMBER WASN'T DRIVING WHEN THIS HAPPENED. *TR
