THIS PROBLEM IS IN CANADA TOO, I JUST BOUGHT A 1995 GMC 2500 EXTENDED CAB FOR PULLING MY HORSES AND I WAS DRIVING IT HOME, I WENT TO MY FRIENDS HOUSE TO VISIT WHEN I WAS PULLING IN HIS DRIVEWAY I HIT THE BRAKES AN THE PEDAL WENT RIGHT TO THE FLOOR I BARELY STOPPED BEFORE GOING THROUGH HIS GARAGE DOOR AND I QUICKLY PUT THE TRUCK IN PARK. THE BRAKE LINES ARE CORRODED AND THE LINE RUPTURED ON THE DRIVERS SIDE RIGHT BESIDE THE FRAME RAIL. I HAVE NEVER SEEN A BRAKE LINE RUPTURE BEFORE AND WAS KIND OF PUZZLED THEN FOUND THIS SITE ONLINE AND I WAS SURPRISED TO SEE SO MANY LIKE COMPLAINTS OF THE SAME ISSUE. *TR
