BEEN HAVING PROBLEMS WITH THE TEMPERATURE GAUGE READING HOT ALL THE TIME, BUT CAR IS NOT OVERHEATING, WAS TOLD IT SOUNDS ELECTRICAL. THEN THE TURNING SIGNAL STARTED TO MAKE THE CLICLING NOISE EVEN THOUGH YOU HAVE ALREADY COMPLETED YOUR TURN, NO VISABLE LIGHTS FLASHING JUST THE CLICKING NOISE THEN DRIVING ALONG WITH WINDOWS ROLLED UP AND AC ON EYE'S STARTED BURNING AND SAW SMOKE COMING FROM STEERING WHEEL TURNING SIGNAL I WAS TOLD SHORTED OUT WHY??? HALLMANS STATES THEY HAVE NEVER HEARD OF A GEO EVER, EVER HAVING A ELECTRICAL PROBLEM DID NOT PURCHASE FROM HALLMANS BUT THEY ARE A GEO DEALER AND THAT IS WHERE I WAS TOLD TO GO FOR SERVICE THANK YOU FOR THIS WONDERFUL WEBSITE FEEL LIKE THIS SHOULD HAVE NOT HAPPENED. *AK
STEERING COLUME TILT LOCKING MECHANISUM FAILED AND THE COLUME DROPED. HAD I NOT BEEN ALERT VEHICLE COULD HAVE SWERVED AND CAUSED AN ACCIDENT. DEALER SAYS STEERING COLUME HAS TO BE CHANGED BUT THEY ARE NO LONGER AVAILABLE. WANTS TO PUT A USED ONE IN. IT SEEM TO ME THAT IT IS A MANUFACTURING DEFECT. IF NOT WHY ARE THERE NONE AVAILABLE ANY LONGER? MAYBE BECAUSE OF A SILENT RECALL! THIS VEHICLE HAS BENN TOWED BEHIND A MOTORHOME FOR 25,000 MILES OF IT'S TOTAL 53,567 AND HAS NOT BEEN OUT OF THE HIGH POSITION MORE THAN TWO DOZEN TIMES SINCE I OWNED IT BECAUSE I AM A BIG GUY AND NEED THE ROOM.
STEERING WHEEL SUDDENLY AND COMPLETELY BREAKS AWAY CAUSING COMPLETE LOSS OF STEERING. CAUSE: WELD WITH NO PENATRATION AND POOR DESIGN. I CAN'T IMAGINE A MORE SERIOUS SAFTY DEFECT.
WHILE DRIVING IN REVERSE OUT OF DRIVEWAY WHEN STEERING WHEEL CAME APART WITHOUT A PRIOR WARNING, STEERING WAS COMPLETLY LOST. *AK THE CAUSE FOR THE STEERING WHEEL TO COME APART WAS POOR DESIGN AND POOR WELDING. *YH
