CERTAIN TRUCK CAB-CHASSIS FAIL TO COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARD NO. 121, "AIR BRAKE SYSTEMS." THESE TRUCKS WERE SHIPPED TO A FINAL STAGE MANUFACTURER IN MEXICO AND SOLD IN PUERTO RICO WITHOUT THE REQUIRED COMPLIANCE CERTIFICATION LABELING OR AN ANTI-LOCK BRAK
DT*: THE CONTACT STATED WHILE DRIVING VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE VEHICLE HESITATED WHEN THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED. A RECALL LETTER REGARDING FUEL SYSTEM,GASOLINE:DELIVERY:FUEL PUMP, WAS RECEIVED HOWEVER, NO RECALL NUMBER WAS LISTED. THE DEALER DETERMINED THE LETTER WAS RECEIVED IN ERROR AND WOULD NOT PERFORM THE RECALL.
