VEHICLE DIES OUT AFTER STARTING IN MORNING UNLESS YOU KEEP YOUR FOOT ON THE GAS. 2. THEY PERFORMED DIAGNOIS REPLACED IAC VALVE. ($236.69) 1.JANUARY 11, 05 CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON. VEHICLE DIES OUT AGAIN. 2. THEY PERFORM DIAGNOIS, CODES P0171 &P0174. REPLACED INTAKE GASKETS AND VALVE COVER, ISOLATOR BOLTS AND REPROGRAM PCM. 3. BECAUSE THIS WAS OUR THIRD TIME IN FOR THE SAME PROBLEM THEY PUT IN A NEW ALTERNATOR AND DID NOT CHARGE US FOR THIS. BUT WE ONCE AGAIN PAID TO FIX THE PROBLEM OF THE CAR DIEING OUT. ($558.50) DID WE NEED A NEW ALTERNATOR? MY FORD WINSTAR IS A 1999. TODAY (JAN. 30, 05) MY ODOMETER HAS 33,000 MILES ON IT. WOULD AN ALTERNATOR NOT LAST MORE THATN 32,000 MILES? THERE IS A TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETIN ON THE P0171 &P0174 PROBLEM WHICH IT TOOK THEM 3 TIMES TO FIGURE OUT. IT IS COVERED
