THE FIRE SPREAD TO THE INSIDE PASSENGER COMPARTMENT. THE POWER ANTENNA MOTOR HAD NOT WORKED PROPERLY FOR YEARS. TEN DAYS LATER BEFORE THE FIRE, THE POWER DOOR LOCKS FAILED AND THE FUSE WAS REPLACED. I WAS INVOLVED IN A TRAFFIC ACCIDENT IN WHICH I STRUCK ANOTHER VEHICLE ON THE PASSENGER SIDE WITH THE RIGHT FRONT OF MY 1995 FROD. THE IMPACK SPEED WAS 35 MPH WITH NO BRAKING WHAT SO EVER. NEITHER OF THE TWO AIR BAGS IN MY VEHICLE WORKED. I RECIEVED NECK/BACK INJURIES. ONE PERSON IN THE OTHER VEHICLE DIED AT HOSPITAL. AT WHAT SPEED SHOULD MY AIR BAGS WORKED. THE IMPACT WAS SOLID AND HARD ENOUGH TO CAUSE THE INNER FENDER TO BUCKLE, BUT NEITHER AIR BAGS DEPLOYED.*AK
AIRBAGS ENGAGED AT 20 MIL.HR. IMPACT. THREW RIGHT ARM INTO WINDSHIELD, CRUSHED WRIST, FRACTURED ARM IN 5 PLACES, REQUIRED 6 SURGERIES, PERMANATLY DISABLEDOVER $50,000 IN PHYSICAL DAMAGES. *AK
WHILE AT A DRIVE-IN WINDOW LEFT TIRE WAS ON THE WALKWAY. CONSUMER BACKED UP TO GET STRAIGHT IN THE DRIVEWAY. THEN PUT CAR IN DRIVE, AND VEHICLE WOULD NOT STOP. CONSUMER PRESSED GAS PEDAL TO THE FLOOR , BUT CAR WOULD NOT STOP. HIT ANOTHER CAR THEN STOPPED. *AK
