Transmission. Hesitates from a stop to highway speeds and hard downshift upon stoppingâ¦either controlled or emergency stop. Seems hard to find a gear. Indecisive acceleration. I took it back to Ford and they drove it and said they could not replicate my complaint. No one has inspected it except when I took it back to my dealership. No warning lamps or issues. There is a definite problem with the shifting and clunking of this transmission. It hesitates & makes a hard noise when stopping. Iâm [XXX] and have always bought Fords. This one needs fixed!
