WAS NOTIFIED BY FORD MOTOR COM. THAT THE SPEED CONTROL ON OUR FORD RV WAS UNSAFE AND NEEDED SERVICE. I TOOK THE VEHICLE TO A FORD DEALER WHO DISCONNECTED THE DEVICE AND WAS TOLD THAT A REPLACEMENT UNIT WOULD BE INSTALLED IN JAN OR FEB OF 08 AND I WOULD BE NOTIFIED ONCE AGAIN. NO WORD YET. WHY? *TR

I RECEIVED A RECALL NOTICE FROM FORD (RECALL #05S28). AS INSTRUCTED, ON SEPTEMBER 20, 2007, I HAD THE CRUISE CONTROL DISCONNECTED AT A FORD DEALERSHIP AND WAS TOLD THE PART IS ON ORDER. I HAVE CONTACTED THE DEALER MANY TIMES AND THE PART IS APPARENTLY UNAVAILABLE TO RESOLVE FORD'S DEFECTIVE EQUIPMENT. I SENT AN EMAIL TO FORD MOTOR COMPANY REQUESTING CONTACT FROM THEM CONCERNING THIS ISSUE AND HAVE NOT HEARD FROM THEM EITHER. PLEASE HELP. *TR
