CONSUMER STATES THAT WHILE DRIVING AT 60 MPH ONE DRIVERS SIDE REAR TIRE BLEW OUT UNEXPECTEDLY. A YEAR LATER, TWO TIRES BLEW OUT ON THE PASSENGER'S SIDE, CAUSING DAMAGE TO THE MUD FLAP ON VEHICLE ON BOTH SIDES. THE TIRES WERE SENT TO FIRESTONE, WHO TOLD THE CONSUMER THAT THE TIRE WILL BE DISPOSED OF WITH NO REMEDY.*AK

UPON INITIAL STARTUP THE CONSUMER COULD HEAR A SHARP RAPPING SOUND, WHILE DRAINING THE OIL INTO A CLEAN DRAIN PAN THE CONSUMER COULD SEE FINE METAL PARTICLES, THE CONSUMER REQUEST THAT THE WARRANTY BE EXTENDED FOR 100,000 MILES OR REPLACED THE ENGINE. NLM
