I have a 2022 Ford Maverick XL Hybrid and the system that failed is the rear lighting system, specifically the tail lamps, brake lamps, and rear turn signals. This appears to be related to the Body Control Module (BCM) software, which was the subject of Ford Recall 24S27 affecting many 2022â2024 Ford Mavericks. The failure began on my vehicle with the left rear tail lamp assembly (running light, brake light, and turn signal), and within approximately two minutes the right rear tail lamp assemb

The rear brake lights intermittently do not work, but at the same time the middle third light brake light works fine. also the turn signals work fine. People will rear end me if they donât see my brake lights. I am a retired, master mechanic, and my son is also a mechanic. We have both looked into this problem and it possibly could be either a module or the turn signal switch. I had no warning of this problem coming on other than someone telling me my rear brake lights stopped working when the
In cold weather -6F The cover over the positive terminal used to jump start the vehicle is impossible to remove. This causes a situation where the vehicle can not be jump started or render assistance to another that needs jump started. The issue stems from the fact that the plastic cover over the positive terminal is unable to bend when it is cold and can not be "unclipped".
This is a complaint of Sheridan Ford in Wilmington DE specifically refusing to complete the recall without my paying out of pocket. Manufacturer Recall Number24S59 NHTSA Recall Number24V684 was left incomplete because they demanded I pay for a "diagnostic" fee on a known safety issue - this dealership is taking advantage of a saftey recall that is required to force customers to pay

Finally I just replaced them and noise gone. Second thing is headliner is completely ruined from moisture intrusion and can visibly be seen but dealer states no leaks present yet my headliner is water stained looking like those wet tiles in a school. Third is my transmission. It is very er

When it rains water gets into the passenger-side footwell and beneath the carpeting during rain events.
After a little over 3 years, my truck has had issues maintaining its 12v battery putting me at risk of being stranded. The battery was replaced once under warranty. Now that I am out of warranty, the replacement battery is now going bad.
The vehicle experiences water intrusion into the passenger-side footwell and under-carpet area during rain events. The suspected failure involves the body sealing system, potentially including the windshield cowl area, firewall seams, HVAC intake/cowl drainage, or related body panel seals. The vehicle and all affected components are fully intact and available for inspection upon request. The carpet has been lifted to document standing water and mold growth but has not been replaced or permanent
Battery in the passenger compartment is charging at 15.2 volts constantly. Ford dealer claims this is not a problem, but the battery life has been shortened, and the battery model number states it should be charged between 13.8 and 14.2 volts. The battery is located under the rear seat, inside the passenger compartment. From my limited understanding of battery technology, over-charging can produce hydrogen into the passenger compartment. My vehicle is now on the third battery, and has only 7

Door check has failed in the frame. The spot welds have broken in similar fashion to the Ford Customer Satisfaction Program 23B56 on the Escapes. There are popping noises, creaking, alignment issues, and prevents the window from rolling down.
The vehicle begins to vibrate in the front end when accelerating and reaching 80 km/h. It becomes extremely unstable. The dealership was unable to find the cause of the problem.
The rear drive unit (rdu) begin to shutter and lock rear tires at low turning speeds. The vehicle was out of warranty with 85k miles. I paid a Ford dealer to replace the rdu and 2 weeks later the same issue was occurring.
