VAN WOULD BACKFIRE AND STALL WHEN I CAM TO A STOP AFTER BEING ON THE HIGHWAY SAY FOR 20 MILES OR SO. AT THE FUEL PUMP WE FOUND BURNT WIRE ON THE PUMP IN THE FUEL TANK.
THE CONSUMER TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER TO HAVE THE RECALL (00V-424 OR 01I-008) WORK FOR THE FUEL SYSTEM PERFORMED BUT THE DEALER NOTIFIED THE CUSTOMER THAT SINCE THE VEHCILE WAS NOT HAVING ANY PROBLEM THAT THE COULD WAIT UP TO A YEAR FOR REPAIRS, THE CUSTOMER IS CONCERNED THAT THE VEHICLE WILL HAVE TO CATCH FIRE BEFORE THE DEALER REPAIRS THE VEHICLE.
