1997 FORD F800. CONSUMER WRITES IN REGARDS TO SAFETY RECALL REPAIR ISSUES *TGW THE CONSUMER WAS INFORMED TO CONTACT THE DEALERSHIP TO MAKE THE NECESSARY ARRAIGNMENTS FOR THE RECALL WORK. HOWEVER, THE DEALER INFORMED HIM THEY WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO DO THE WORK, BECAUSE THEY WOULD NOT GET REIMBURSE. THE CONSUMER CALLED THE SERVICE CENTER BACK AND ADVISED THEM, HE WOULD LIKE TO SCHEDULE THE REPAIR WITH THEM. THE SERVICE CENTER INFORMED THE CONSUMER A FORM WOULD NEED TO BE FILLED OUT, BEFORE THEY COULD SCHEDULE THE WORK. AFTER RETURNING THE FORM ON MAY 21, 2012, THE CONSUMER HAS NOT HEARD BACK FROM THE SERVICE CENTER. *JB

THE HYDRAULIC EMERGENCY BACK-UP BRAKE SYSTEMS WARNING LIGHTS, BUZZER, AND ELECTRIC MOTOR WILL COME ON INTERMITTENTLY, EVEN THOUGH THE MAIN BRAKING SYSTEM IS FULLY OPERATIONAL.
ELECTRICAL BACK-UP BRAKE SYSTEMS RUNS EVEN WHEN CAR IS OFF. CAUSING PROBLEMS WITH WIRING. CONTACTED MANUFACTURER, REPAIRED THE VEHICLE BUT PROBLEMS STILL EXIST.
