Owners comparing this cohort against neighboring years should pair the counters above with the complaint-by-year trend on the parent model page — a spike in a single year often tracks to a platform refresh, a new transmission supplier, or an updated ECU calibration. FORD RECALL 11S21 GAS TANK STRAP RECALL PERFORMED AT LUCAS FORD IN BURLINTON NJ. THEY SAID THE STRAP PULLED THROUGH ROTTED FRAME AND FORD SAID BECAUSE THE RECALL ONLY SAYS THEY HAVE TO REPLACE RUSTED STRAPS THEY WILL NOT REPAIR. THEY TOLD THEM TO PUT NEW STRAPS ON LEAVING REAR ONE NOT CONNECTED. IF THIS IS A SAFETY RECALL THIS IS A FAIL AS MY TRUCK COULD STILL HAVE THE TANK DROP AND BURST INTO FLAMES. THIS IS THE SAME AS TOYOTA RECALL FOR POORLY TREATED FRAMES JUST FORD WAS ALLOWED TO ONLY REPLACE 20 DOLLARS STRAPS THAT PROBABLY AREN'T EVEN THE PROBLEM. *TR
