FORD IS RECALLING 2,811 MY 2008-2009 F-650 AND F-750 TRUCKS EQUIPPED WITH C7 OR C9 CATERPILLAR DIESEL ENGINES. THE FUEL PUMP OUTLET CHECK PLUG MAY BE CRACKED WHICH COULD CAUSE FUEL TO SPRAY AND LEAK.

ON CERTAIN TRUCKS EQUIPPED WITH CATERPILLAR C7 OR C9 DIESEL ENGINES, A FUEL PUMP FAILURE WILL DILUTE THE ENGINE OIL WITH FUEL AND MAY CAUSE THE TURBOCHARGER TO FAIL AND CAUSE LOSS OF THROTTLE CONTROL WITH WARNING.
