Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2020-2021 F-53 Motorhome Stripped Chassis and F-59 Commercial Stripped Chassis vehicles. An inadequate amount of rear axle lubricant may cause rear wheel bearing damage and bearing seizure, and rear axle or driveshaft failure.
FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE:STORAGE:TANK ASSEMBLY
Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2022-2023 E-350, E-450, and 2021-2022 F-59 vehicles. The paint along the weld seam of the fuel tank may peel and lead to corrosion of the exposed metal, which can result in a fuel leak.
STEERING:CRITICAL FASTENERS
Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2020-2022 F-59 vehicles. The bolt that secures the intermediate steering shaft to the steering gear box may be improperly tightened, which could result in separation of the intermediate steering shaft from the steering gear box.
Pistons rings were worn causing excessive blow by into crankcase. Catalytic converters were damaged and clogged. all of which required an engine replacement.
The chassis is bent on the rear end on both sides of the motorhome

The contact owns a 2021 Ford F-59. The contact stated that upon inspecting the vehicle, he noticed that the upper bolt had detached from the chassis and bent the bracket. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed, and the bracket and missing bolts were replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The contact then received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 22V731000 (Suspension) however, the part to do the recall repair was not available. The dealer was contacted and confirmed that parts were not yet available. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue and the contact was directed to another dealer. The failure mileage was approximately 10,000. Parts distribution disconnect.
