The contact owns a 2016 Ford F-350 SD. The contact stated that while driving at speeds exceeding 60 MPH, the vehicle would suddenly experience severe front-end vibration and shaking nearly causing the driver to lose control of the steering wheel. The failure had occurred on multiple occasions after driving over a bump in the road. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who installed torsion bars to the suspension however, the failure persisted. The manufacturer and local dealer were not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 50,000.

STARED INTERMITTENTLY WITH THE WIPER/TURN SIGNAL MULTIFUNCTION SWITCH AND THE WIPERS WOULD NOT TURN OFF EVEN THOUGH THE SWITCH WAS IN THE OFF POSITION. FORD DENIED THE WARRANTY STATING THE FUEL WAS CONTAMINATED WITH TO MUCH WATER. UPON HAVING MY FUEL TESTED, IT WAS DETERMINED IT WAS NOT CONTAMINATED AND THEY PAID 9000 OF REPAIR COST, AND I PAID 1000. I HAVE TWO VEHICLES (THE OTHER WHICH I WILL ALSO MAKE A COMPLAINT AS WELL) AND BOTH VEHICLES HAVE UNSAFETLY SHUT OFF AND LOST POWER. AFTER DOING RESEARCH, THE FUEL PUMP IN THE TRUCKS IN NOT RATED FOR THE LUBRICITY THE DIESEL FUEL IN AMERICA OFFERS. I HAVE SPOKEN TO SEVERAL MECHANICS WHO SAID THE PUMP WILL BLOW UP IF YOU DO NOT USE A FUEL ADDITIVE. PURCHASED NEW FEDERAL 35-12.5R20 COURAGIA MT TIRE, WHEELS TPMS MOUNTED AND BALANCED INSTALLED ON 2016 F-350 WITH 19340 MILES AT FIRST WE HAD A LOT OF TROUBLE WITH THE TPMS THE DEALER SAID THAT THEY SOMETIMES DON'T WORK AND TO JUST IGNORE THE LIGHT. I KNEW THAT WAS WRONG AND KEPT CHECKING TIRE PRESSURE AT 65 PSI TIRES ROAD ROUGH AND PULLED TO THE RIGHT I TOOK IT TO MY LOCAL SHOP AND THEY CHECKED ALIGNMENT AND SAID IT WAS PERFECT. ALSO SAID A TIRE MUST BE OUT OF ROUND CAUSING THE ROUGH RIDE.
