The contact owns a 2020 Ford F-250 SD. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, the accelerator pedal was depressed, however, the vehicle failed to accelerate as intended. The vehicle lost motive power and the engine seized. The contact stated that the vehicle failed to restart, and a Police Officer assisted the contact in moving the vehicle to the shoulder of the road. The contact stated that the failure occurred while driving on a busy highway, which could have caused someone to be seriously injured. The contact stated that the incident was significantly scary, and the Police Officer arrived after 21 minutes. The contact stated that there were no warning lights illuminated prior to the failure. The contact stated that the check engine warning light illuminated after the failure occurred.
