THE CONTACT SUSTAINED HAND INJURIES WHILE ATTEMPTING TO EXTINGUISH THE FIRE. MEDICAL ATTENTION WAS NOT REQUIRED. THE CONTACT DISCOVERED THAT THE FIRE STARTED AT THE WIRING HARNESS. THE FIRE DEPARTMENT EXTINGUISHED THE FIRE. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS DESTROYED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 103,000

THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO EXTINGUISH THE FIRE AND THE HOOD, FENDER WALLS AND WIRES WERE DESTROYED. TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 1995 FORD F250. THE CONTACT STATED HE WAS AWAKENED BY THE HORN OF HIS VEHICLE INDEPENDENTLY SOUNDING.
