ON OCTOBER 9, 2009, PURSUANT TO FORD RECALL 05S28, A LOCAL FORD DEALER, DAVIES FORD, CHARLEROI, PENNSYLVANIA, INSTALLED A WIRING HARNESS ON MY VAN. ONLY FIVE DAYS LATER, WHILE MY VAN WAS PARKED, THE ENGINE TURNED OFF,AND THE KEYS REMOVED FROM THE IGNITION, MY VAN CAUGHT FIRE AND WAS COMPLETELY DESTROYED. AN EXPERT INSPECTED THE VAN AND DETERMINED THAT THE FIRE STARTED IN THE EXACT LOCATION WHERE THE MASTER CYLINDER AND SCDS WERE INSTALLED AND THAT THE FIRE WAS CAUSED BY A DEFECTIVE SCDS. THE DEALER PROMISED TO GIVE MA A VAN OF EQUAL VALUE OR AN AMOUNT OF MONEY EQUALING THE VAN'S VALUE, BUT AFTER TWO YEARS, RENEGED ON ITS PROMISE. FORD MOTOR COMPANY WILL NOT TALK WITH ME. I HAVE BEEN DEPRIVED OF THE USE OF THE VAN SINCE OCTOBER 14, 2009 AND HAVE INCURRED HUGE EXPENSES FOR TRANSPORTATION, STORAGE, TRAUMA AND EMOTIONAL DISTRESS.
