Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2023 E450 vehicles. The bolt that secures the rear axle rotor to the wheel-hub may be improperly tightened, possibly resulting in wheel separation.

Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2022-2023 E-350, E-450, and 2021-2022 F-59 vehicles. The paint along the weld seam of the fuel tank may peel and lead to corrosion of the exposed metal, which can result in a fuel leak.

The contact discovered shortly after the purchase of the vehicle, that during the manufacturing, the vehicle was improperly assembled and was missing the fasteners, the housing to the frame, and the bottom of the vehicle was missing several bolts. The dealer was contacted; however, the vehicle remained at the residence. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 22,400.

There were no reported injuries, fire or air bag deployment. A police report was filed. The contact called the local dealer but the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired.
