THE CONSUMER STATED THAT WHILE TRAVELING AT A LOW RATE OF SPEED, THE CONSUMER ATTEMPTED TO STOP THE VEHICLE BY DEPRESSING THE BRAKE PEDAL; HOWEVER THE VEHICLE FAILED TO OPERATE AS NEEDED. THE VEHICLE INSTEAD ACCELERATE FORWARD WHILE TRAVELING APPROXIMATELY 30 MPH. THE VEHICLE WENT INTO AN EMBANKMENT, DID NOT COLLIDE OR HIT ANYTHING, NO FRONT END DAMAGE, HOWEVER THE REAR OF THE VEHICLE WAS DAMAGED. THE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY DUE TO NO COLLISION, A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED(BR-19-13326). THE CONTACT WAS TAKEN TO A LOCAL HOSPITAL AND SUSTAINED A FRACTURED BACK. THIS IS A CLASS-C MOTORHOME AND IT WAS COMPLETELY EMPTY OF ANY AND ALL CARGO, NO LIQUIDS, WHICH IS CAPABLE OF CARRYING 40 GALLONS OF WATER AT 8.3 GALLONS PER POUND. THERE WAS LESS THAN 1/4 OF A TANK OF FUEL, OF A 55 GALLON TANK AND THE MANUFACTURER STATES THAT THIS IS A 4 PASSENGER VEHICLE. WITH THE MATH WE HAVE DONE, OF 40 GALLONS OF WATER AT 333.60 LBS AND 55 GALLONS OF GAS EQUATES TO 346.50 LBS.
