SINCE NEW, THE CAR VIOLENTLY AND SUDDENLY BUCK AND LURCHED IN FIRST GEAR. SINCE THIS IS A HIGH PERFORMANCE CAR IT MAKES IT VERY DANGEROUS AND UNCONTROLLABLE. THIS IS DANGEROUS TO THE DRIVER, OTHER DRIVERS, AND PEDESTRIANS. MANY TIME THE DEALER TRIED TO FIX BUT THEY CLAIM THAT THE DEFECT IS INHERENT TO THE EARLIER MODELS OF THIS CAR. THEY CLAIM FERRARI IS UNWILLING TO FIX EARLIER MODELS BECAUSE OF COST. THE BATTERY WAS REPLACED BECAUSE IT WOULD NOT HOLD A CHARGE. WHEN THE CONSUMERS SON WENT TO MOVE THE VEHICLE, IT LURCHED AND HE HIT A TREE WHICH CAUSED MINOR DAMAGE TO THE BUMPER. A FERRARI REP TOLD THE CONSUMER THERE WAS A PROBLEM WITH THE EARLIER MODEL VEHICLE AND NO AMOUNT OF RESETTING THE COMPUTER WOULD CHANGE THE PROBLEM. *JB
