I FIRST NOTICED THE BOTTOM OF THE STEERING COLUMN COVER GETTING VERY WARM, I REMOVED THE COVER AND FOUND THAT IT HAD A BURN HOLE AND CARBON RESIDUE ON IT. WHEN THE TRUCK IS RUNNING THE IGNITION SWITCH GETS HOT, CAUSING THE BURNT COVER. ALSO, THE VOLT METER STARTS HIGH AFTER STARTING AND FLUCTUATES BETWEEN HIGH VOLTS AND LOW VOLTS UNTIL THE BATTERY RECOVERS ITS FULL CHARGE, (POSSIBLY RELATED). THE TRUCK IS A 1991 DODGE W250 DIESEL. *JB
