TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 DODGE NITRO. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM WAS FAULTY AND ALL OF THE ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS WORKED INTERMITTENTLY, INCLUDING THE WINDSHIELD WIPERS AND HORN. IN ADDITION, THE ENGINE CONTINUED TO RUN WHEN THE KEYS WERE REMOVED FROM THE IGNITION. THE DEALER DIAGNOSED THE VEHICLE WITH A FAULTY TIPM MODULE AND ADVISED THE CONTACT TO HAVE IT REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. NO REPAIRS WERE PERFORMED SINCE THE PART NEEDED FOR REPAIRS WAS ON A NATIONAL BACKORDER. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 65,000 AND THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 64,500. THE VIN WAS UNAVAILABLE.
