AS A RESULT, THE CONTACT CRASHED INTO A THIRD VEHICLE. THE CONTACT SUSTAINED HEAD AND BACK INJURIES AND RECEIVED MEDICAL ATTENTION. THE DRIVER SIDE AIR BAG DID NOT DEPLOY. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. I TOOK MY CAR IN TO KENDALL DODGE FOR THE SAFETY RECALL ON PART # R25/NHTSA 15V-313 (WHICH IS PART OF MY AIRBAG) TO BE REPLACED AND THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT IS SAYING THAT THE RECALL COULD NOT BE COMPLETED BECAUSE THERE IS "CLOCK SPRING CONNECTOR TAB PART # 107300 THAT IS DAMAGED AND THEY ARE REFUSING TO FIX THIS. MY CONCERN IS OBVIOUSLY THAT THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT IS CLAIMING THAT IF MY CAR IN AN ACCIDENT MY AIRBAG WILL NOT DEPLOY. IT APPEARS THAT THIS CAR WAS IN A FRONT END COLLISION AND SOME

THE DODGE DEALER FOUND THE PROBLEM AND REPLACED THE ENTIRE PEDAL ASSEMBLY UNDER WARRANTY.
