VIOLENT DEPLOYMENT OF AIRBAG CAUSED INJURING TO DRIVER DURING A COLLISION.
FAULTY ELECTRICAL SYSTEM IS BLAMED FOR THE FOLLOWING SITUATION. VEHICLE'S OIL LIGHT CAME ON AND VEHICLE SHUT OFF AND WOULD NOT RESTART FOR SEVERAL HOURS. 15 DAYS LATER, THE GAS LIGHT CAME ON AND THE VEHICLE SHUT OFF. DRIVER GOT OUT AFTER REALIZING THAT THE ENGINE WAS ON FIRE. THE TRUCK RESTARTED ON ITS OWN AND PROCEEDED ACROSS A FOUR LANE HIGHWAY.
VIOLENT DEPLOYMENT OF AIRBAG, CAUSING BURN INJURIES.
NO DEPLOYMENT OF AIRBAG IN ACCIDENT.
OWNER WAS INVOLVED IN A DIRECT FRONTAL COLLISION WHILE DRIVING AT 40-45 MPH AND THERE WAS NO DEPLOYMENT OF THE DRIVER'S SIDE AIRBAG. OWNER NOTES THERE WAS DAMAGE TO PASSENGER'S SIDE AS WELL *AK
PASSIVE RESTRAINT, AIR BAG: DRIVING DOWN HIGHWAY AT A VERY HIGH SPEED, RAN OFF HIGHWAY AND FLIPPED OVER SEVERAL TIMES AND THE AIR BAG NEVER DEPLOYED. *AK
