Concentration in one or two component groups is the classic signature of a systemic defect; a flat distribution usually reflects normal aging, warranty complaints, or isolated build-plant variability. This model year has 6 active recall campaigns, which means the manufacturer is obligated to remedy the covered defect at no charge for the life of the vehicle — the full NHTSA campaign numbers are listed below.
NHTSA currently has 20 investigation files overlapping the 2015 CHALLENGER, and 1 remain open. Owners comparing this cohort against neighboring years should pair the counters above with the complaint-by-year trend on the parent model page — a spike in a single year often tracks to a platform refresh, a new transmission supplier, or an updated ECU calibration. My SHIFTER is messing up again recall U4 i believe and my its a recall on my vehicle ive had this vehicle for 2 years they stated the previous owner already had repaired but im imforming them i am still having the issue my car will literally stop going in the middle of the highway. Ive almost been close to getting in a accident and all everyone can say is it has already been repaired but i want them to understand that it may was repaired but it wasnt done correctly because something is wrong with my shifter/trasmission and electrical system. Which are both two valid recalls that i have. My shifter just blinks out of nowhere and just will stop at any moment. If the person behind me wasnt paying attention i couldve died or been harm seriously due to this keep happening while i am driving on the highway.

I hadnât on my car for very long when I stepped on the brakes and my passenger seat flew clear up to the dash. When I stopped and looked at it, they were little metal teeth all over the place underneath the seat. It wonât go all the way up and lock it will only go all the way back and semi lock. If thereâs someone sitting in the passenger seat when I press on the brakes, it moves up a few inches and then back it will not lock completely
One day after driving home from work there was a message that says low battery voltage on the instrument panel, then it went away. No other warning lights or problems. Ten more miles down the road the message says battery saver mode, reduced functions and then the car started to smoke, I am freaked out at this point praying to make it home safely. I arrive home and pull into driveway and then turn engine off and let it cool. Lift the hood and coolant has sprayed and spewed all over the engine compartment and is significantly reduced. Now parked, engine off the shift lights are still on and navigation panel and radio won't turn off. I had to unplug the battery completely and manually lock the car. The next day I replace the battery, check coolant, and allow car to warm up. No warning lights or messages. Then I start to drive and less than ten min, battery saver mode again, reduced function and power then engine smoking again, coolant spraying under hood and I have no idea what's wrong.

The contact owns a 2015 Dodge Challenger. The contact stated that while the vehicle was parked, while attempting to fasten the passengerâs side seat belt, the seat belt failed to retract. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed and determined that the retractor mechanism had failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 60,000.

Passenger seat sliding mechanism not locking / latching properly. When coming to a stop the passenger seat will slide forward, sometimes an inch or two but sometimes further. This is a very well know issue I have discovered across multiple internet message boards and is due to inadequate slide bearings, and has been ongoing for years.
the seat belts in the rear are guided through a metal D ring that has a plastic housing. This housing cracks and prevents the seat belts from retracting. This issue relays to most dodge, jeep chrysler products that all utilize the same part for front and rear seat belts. The issue has been acknowledged for front seat belts but not rear.

adaptive cruise and forward collision warning failed regularly for 10 months. dealers worked to find issue after having car in shop for collectively about 3 months. Dealer replaced parts, and finally determined it was a 4G adapter sold by Uconnect- a part of Dodge parent corp. Mopar tech's were aware of it, yet to my knowledge they still sell the 4G service. Use of the adapter with remote start disables FCW and ACC. I have pictures and documentation. They should stop selling this or fix software.
