ISUZU IS RECALLING 16,859 MY 2006-2007 ISUZU NPR, NQR, NRR, GMC W3500, W4500, W5500 AND CHEVROLET W3500, W4500, W5500 TRUCKS EQUIPPED WITH DIESEL ENGINES. DIESEL FUEL MAY SEEP OR LEAK FROM THE FUEL PIPE AT THE UPPER OR LOWER FUEL PORT ON THE DIESEL FUEL SUPPLY PUMP.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 CHEVROLET W3500. AFTER THE VEHICLE WAS STARTED, THE CHECK ENGINE WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED INTERMITTENTLY. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED NOR REPAIRED. IN ADDITION, THE CONTACT RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 15V704000 (FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE); HOWEVER, THE PART TO DO THE RECALL REPAIR WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THE RECALL REPAIR. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 100,000.

THIS 07 TRUCK GET HOT AND THE TRANS SLIPS. I HAVE HAD IT TO MANY DEALERS WITH NO ONE FIXING THE PROBLEM. ITS BACK IN THE SHOP NOW. GM REP SAYS DON'T DO ANYTHING TO IT UNTIL IT DOES IT IN THE SHOP. IT ONLY DOES THIS WHEN I AM PULLING A RV WITH THE TRUCK. I BOUGHT THIS TRUCK TO PULL RVS TO CAL EVERY WEEK AND I SPENT MORE TIME IN SHOPS THAN WORKING. NOW I AM GETTING BEHIND ON MY PAYMENTS BECAUSE I CAN'T KEEP IT RUNNING. I KNOW THERE JUST WAITING FOR THE WARRANTY TO RUN OUT THEN THEY WILL TELL ME WHAT'S WRONG. THEY HAVE PUT ONE INJECTOR IN IT AND A EGR VALVE SO FAR AND IT HAS NOT FIXED IT I HAVE ASK THEM TO BUY IT BACK AND THEY SAY THEY DON'T BUY BACK AUTOS THAT ARE LEASED. I NEED SOME HELP ON THIS. *JB
