3-7-18 WE HAVE A 2014 VOLT WHICH IS CHARGED WITH OUR CHARGING STATION. MY HUSBAND WAS IN THE VEHICLE AND I REACHED WITH MY LEFT HAND TO POP THE CHARGER LID OPEN AND WITH MY RIGHT REACHED FOR THE CHARGER HOSE. A USED CHEVY VOLT.IT CAME WITH A LEVEL 1 CHARGER. BASIC 110 V TAKES 8 HOURS TO CHARGE 18KVH BATTERY. THIS CHARGER WAS REPAIRED FROM THE LOOKS OF IT.I USED IT FOR A FEW TIMES AND IT BURNT. LUCKILY IT WAS NOT NEAR ANY FLAME ABLE MATERIAL, OR IT MAY HAVE CAUSED FIRE.
