Odometer Fraud. The contact purchased a 2019 Chevrolet Tahoe. The contact discovered that there was a mileage discrepancy after the purchase of the vehicle. The vehicle was an independent dealer sale. At the time of purchase, the vehicle mileage was 135,000. It was later discovered, upon checking with an OBD2 Scanner, that the mileage was 220,145. Ticking sound started from the motor and the check engine light came on. We took it to the dealership and was informed the vehicle had bad lifters with a bent push rod needing a full motor replacement. The vehicle has 92k miles and was purchased a year and a half ago from that same dealership. The vehicle is currently at the dealership awaiting costly repairs.
This is the date I first took the vehicle to a dealership. The Transmission has performed poorly and the wiper would not work at all and it was not a fuse problem. Transmission finally failed and had to be replaced (6/25) but car is in a dealership for the 3rd time for windshield wipers. They do not work so car is dangerous. You leave home with no rain and then there is rain and wipers sometimes worked, most of the times they did not. On 6/25 they would not address the issue as wipers worked in High speed (but only on high speed). 3 months later they did not work at all. It did not rain in LA so not concerned, but now it is. This is a serious system design flaw. The replaced complete wiper blade system, but The relays on the bottom of the fuse box control the wiper blades. I have the Z71 off-road package as I drive off-road and in snow conditions. This car was designed poorly as this is a 4x4 vehicle and moister should not effect the electrical system nor a safety device like the w

My 2019 Chevrolet Tahoe Premier equipped with the 6.2L V8 engine has experienced a major internal engine failure. The dealership diagnosed camshaft bearing failure with a recorded misfire on cylinder #5. The engine oil was drained and inspected and no significant metallic debris was found, and the dealership noted no evidence of abuse or neglect. Intermittent drivability concerns were present over the life of the vehicle and were addressed through professional diagnosis and repair each time. The vehicle has been properly maintained since new. Just months prior to this failure, the vehicle underwent full diagnostics and significant repairs, and no internal engine failure was identified. This failure appears consistent with a known defect pattern affecting GM 6.2L engines involving internal valvetrain or camshaft-related failures. The failure resulted in abnormal engine noise, misfire, loss of power, and the vehicle becoming unreliable for safe operation. General Motors has declined g

The automatic transmission on my 2019 Chevrolet Tahoe has failed prematurely at approximately 88,000 miles. The dealership confirmed internal transmission damage, specifically that Solenoid #3 in the valve body is sticking and not engaging, which requires a complete transmission replacement. Their written inspection states: âPossible internal damage in transmission. Solenoid 3 in valve body is not engaging.â The component is available for inspection upon request. Safety Risk: This malfunction created several dangerous situations. The vehicle hesitated, struggled to shift into gear, and at times moved forward while in reverse. These symptoms could cause loss of control, delayed acceleration when entering traffic, or unexpected movement putting myself and others at risk. Diagnosis Confirmation: Yes. The problem has been fully inspected, reproduced, and confirmed by an authorized Chevrolet dealership service center. They provided a written estimate of $8,669.59 for a complete transmis

Alignment and suspend has vehicle shaking, rumbling and shifts all over when hitting a bump in road. J.B.A. Chevrolet had detected alignment/suspension problem. Had check engine light come on but Carmax claimed it was a history code. The transmission had to be replaced. Still experiencing multiple problems with said vehicle.

When I get up to a certain speed the car begins to shake. Tires were checked for balance. My public records show a recall # N192261050. I have the Product Safety Recall and it describes this issue in the recall. I bought the car in 2023 and just began experiencing this in June of 2025. It only happens while driving 60-70mph. Have not have this fixed thinking it was a road issue but have had several more incidents with this happening and now it's a safety concern.

Loss of power
While driving on the expressway I heard a rattling noise coming from my undercarriage, by the time I got off my exit the sound got louder, I attempted to make it home and when I pulled in my driveway, and popped the hood, fluid starting pouring out the bottom as well as splashed on other components. Upon further inspection it was determined that the fluid was coolant. There was no dashboards lights or warning signs indicating that something was wrong or that my car was at risk of overheating. I had the vehicle towed to an auto repair shop and the following was diagnosed and repaired: â¢Water pump â¢Cooling System â¢Engine Water pump â¢Engine Coolant thermostat housing assembly. â¢Serpentine Belt
