General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2015-2017 Cadillac Escalade, 2014-2018 Chevrolet Silverado, GMC Sierra, 2015-2018 Chevrolet Suburban, Tahoe, GMC Yukon vehicles. The amount of vacuum created by the vacuum pump may decrease over time.

The contact owns a 2017 Chevrolet Tahoe. The contact stated that while stopped at a stop light, another vehicle crashed into the rear of the contact's vehicle. As a result, the contact’s vehicle shifted forward into another lane. The contact stated that the cabin was filled with smoke and she had to abruptly exit the vehicle. The contact sustained an injury to the right knee, back, neck, and right arm that required medical attention. A police report was filed, and the contact was informed that

I recently had my brakes and rotors replaced for this issue. Any time I’m backing my vehicle into and parking spot drive way garage etc it’s difficult to stop. I’m flooring the pedal to stop. I cracked my number because I couldn’t stop. I’ve seen an article for a recall on 2018 models that were made in 2017. My truck is a 2017 experiencing these same issues. No recalls are current for this isssue. Not sure if I’m the only one but it is happening.

MY SON AND I WERE TRAVELING ON HAMPTON RD IN DALLAS TOWARDS CAMPWISDON RD IN DALLAS TEXAS. AFTER MAKING A RIGHT ONTO CAMPWISDOM ANOTHER DRIVER WAVED ME DOWN . I LET MY WINDOW DOWN WHILE IN MOTION AND SHE INFORMED ME THAT MY TRUCK WAS ON FIRE. THERE WERE NO WARNINGS ON MY DASHBOARD, NOR DID SEE SMOKE OR FLAMES.

THE DESIGN OF THE BACK PASSENGER DOORS IS DANGEROUS BECAUSE THE SHAPE OF THE DOOR IS IN A POINT AND NOT ROUNDED, IT IS NOT COVERED IN PLASTIC OR RUBBER. MY 3 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER GOT OUT OF THE VEHICLE OVER THE WEEKEND AND STARTED TO RUN TOWARDS THE SIDEWALK AND STRUCK HER FOREHEAD ON THE POINTED END OF THE DOOR CAUSING A DEEP GASH THAT BLEED PROFUSELY.... SHE HAD TO BE TAKEN TO THE ER FOR SUTURING. VERY POOR DESIGN FOR A VEHICLE THAT IS TYPICALLY PURCHASED BY FAMILIES WITH KIDS.

CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ILLUMINATED AT 500 MILES ON ODOMETER DIAGNOSED AS FUEL VENTING FROM FUEL SYSTEM INTO CABIN COMPARTMENT RESULTING IN FUEL SMELL CAUSING NAUSEA, DIZZINESS AND CAUSING DRIVER AND OCCUPANTS TO BE EXTREMELY DROWSY. THIS OCCURRED WHEN CAR WAS STARTED AND WHEN DRIVING AT ALL TIME. DRIVER SOUGHT MEDICAL ATTENTION AND DEALER HAD GREAT DIFFICULTY REPAIRING VEHICLE LE TO OWNERS SATISFACTION. DEALER REFUSED TO REPLACE BRAND NEW VEHICLE
