The 2007CHEVROLETTAHOE carries 1531 consumer safety complaints in NHTSA's Office of Defects Investigation database for this specific model-year cohort. Within that volume, owners reported 32 crashes, 34 fires, 91 injuries, and 0 fatalities. No NCAP 5-star crash-test rating is available for this model year in the federal database.
Component-level analysis is where model-year complaints become actionable: the top complaint category for the 2007 TAHOE is air bags with 492 filings, followed by unknown or other (197) and electrical system (130). Concentration in one or two component groups is the classic signature of a systemic defect; a flat distribution usually reflects normal aging, warranty complaints, or isolated build-plant variability. This model year has 4 active recall campaigns, which means the manufacturer is obligated to remedy the covered defect at no charge for the life of the vehicle — the full NHTSA campaign numbers are listed below.
NHTSA currently has 57 investigation files overlapping the 2007 TAHOE, and 2 remain open. Owners comparing this cohort against neighboring years should pair the counters above with the complaint-by-year trend on the parent model page — a spike in a single year often tracks to a platform refresh, a new transmission supplier, or an updated ECU calibration. Use the related-complaint feed below to read raw owner narratives before deciding whether any pattern here affects your specific use case.

Merci d'avance Cordialement Mr Lamy

Bridgestone Dueler H/L P275/60R20 Alenza had a slow leak for about a year that I couldn't find. Today the sidewall completely brew out on the highway at 70 mph. There was no curb rash or noticeable physical damage anywhere on the sidewall prior to the sidewall failure.
Service Stabiltrak error and service traction control error. Reduced engine power error causes the motor to completely shut down with no warning even while driving making it impossible to get out of traffic and to safely exit to the shoulder. No acceleration when pressing gas pedal.

Brand new tires installed on vehicle by Americas Tire store on 7/29/24. Received a phone call from our son 7/30/24 7pm of complete tire blow out on hwy. Lost control of vehicle but managed to pull off hwy where he proceeded to contact us as well as AAA. Took back in to Americas Tire said they would replace tire but had no explanation as to why this happened on a brand new tire. According to AAA a lot of tire manufacturers cutting corners producing defective tires.
