AFTER CONTACTING GM ABOUT SEVERAL INCIDENTS OF BRAKE FAILURE I WAS TOLD THEY WERE INVESTIGATING THIS PROBLEM BUT MY VEHICLE WAS OUT OF WARRANTY AND NOTHING WOULD BE DONE BY GM. NO FURTHER EXPLANATION FOLLOWED. THE BRAKING PROBLEM ON THIS VEHICLE HAS RESULTED IN ONE CRASH W/INJURIES AND THREE OTHER OCCURRENCES WERE A CRASH WAS NARROWLY AVERTED. CONTACT WITH OTHERS ACROSS THE US INDICATES THE ABS HAS A PROBLEM KNOWN BY GM, BUT GM REFUSES TO MAKE REPARATION. I RECEIVED FACIAL LACERATIONS DUE TO

THE DESCRIPTION OF THE ABS BRAKE FAILURE IN THE WASHINGTON POST ARTICLE ON JULY 22, 1999 IS AN EXACT DESCRIPTION OF THE CAUSE OF AN ACCIDENT I HAD IN FEBRUARY, 1999. I WAS TRAVELING ABOUT 10 MPH AND APPLIED THE BRAKES. I WAS UNABLE TO STOP BECAUSE NO MATTER HOW HARD I PUSHED THE PEDAL, THE VEHICLE CONTINUED TO ROLL AND BUMPED INTO THE TRUCK IN FRONT OF ME, DAMAGING MY BUMPER. I HAD THE DEALER REPLACE THE BUMPER AND CHECK THE BRAKES. THEY SAID THEY DIDN'T FIND ANYTHING WRONG WITH THE ABS BRAK
