Owners comparing this cohort against neighboring years should pair the counters above with the complaint-by-year trend on the parent model page — a spike in a single year often tracks to a platform refresh, a new transmission supplier, or an updated ECU calibration. 20070313ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:EXHAUST SYSTEM:EMISSION CONTROL:GAS RECIRCULATION VALVE (EGR VALVE)

BOUGHT A 95' T10 BLAZER TO PULL MY LITTLE BOAT BUT EVERY TIME I TAKE IT ABOVE 55 MPH THE EGR VALVE GETS CARBON STUCK IN IT AND MY BRAKING SYSTEM FAILS. I HAVE TALKED TO CHEVY AND THEY SAY THERE IS NOTHING THEY COULD DO FOR ME EXCEPT TAKE THE INTAKES OFF AND BLOW THEM OUT (500$). BUT I HAVE READ COUNTLESS REPORTS OF THIS HAPPENING TO BLAZER OWNERS AFTER THERE 95' WAS ONLY TWO YEARS OLD. I WISH CHEVY WOULD FELL SOME REMORSE AND FIX THE PROBLEM BEFORE SOMEONE GETS HURT.*JB

20060324ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:COOLING SYSTEM:HOSES/LINES/PIPING/FITTINGS

OIL COOLER LINE FROM OIL FILTER TO RADIATOR DEVELOPS LEAKS AND CAN FAIL CAUSING ENGINE TO LOOSE OIL PRESSURE AND DESTROY ITSELF. PROBLEM SEEMS TO START AT FITTINGS HOLDING OIL LINES TO PIECE. THEY ARE ALUMINUM AND SUBJECT TO FATIGUE. *JB
