TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 1994 CHEVROLET T10. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE GAS TANK RUSTED OUT AND THERE WAS A PLATE UNDERNEATH THE TANK. HE PULLED THE PLATE OUT AND NOTICED WATER PRESENT. HE STATED THAT THE PLATE WAS NOT SUPPOSED TO HOLD WATER AND DID NOT HAVE DRAINAGE HOLES, WHICH ALLOWED THE FUEL TO LEAK FROM THE VEHICLE. THE FUEL PUMP LEAKED APPROXIMATELY FIVE GALLONS OF GASOLINE ONTO THE CONTACT'S DRIVEWAY. THE DEALER STATED THAT NOTHING COULD BE DONE. GENERAL MOTORS STATED THAT THEY COULD DIAGNOSE AND REPAIR THE VEHICLE AT THE CONTACT'S EXPENSE. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGES WERE 120,000. UPDATED 12/8/09 *CN THE FUEL TANK RUSTED OUT AT THE BOTTOM. UPDATED 12/09/09
